Weekend (Spring) Wrap-Up

It's been awhile since I posted on here. The last few weeks of school had me running around like crazy. I felt like a chicken with my head cut off trying to wrap everything up. More on my first year of teaching later this week! 

Now it's SUMMER! And this is how I feel about it..... 

I'm so excited it's summer now. Turning my keys in was one of the best feelings ever. I'm so excited for this summer because we have a lot planned. Days at the pool. Netflix marathons. Weddings. Road trips. Vacations. And so much more. I'm ready for it to begin. 

It started out great today! This is what we did. 

Laid out by our amazing pool which is only 10 steps away from our patio. I love it. Reading by the pool. Jumping in and then out a million times because it is so hot. Vegas is really hot. Like already above 105 hot. There's not much laying out by the pool like Ohio. It's more like laying in the pool. But I love it.  

Another summer favorite. Netflix marathons. Nick and I have also been obsessed with Pretty Little Liars recently. Yes both of us! We love it. It's playing mind games with us. And Nick is totally yelling at the TV telling these girls what to do. We're only on season 3 so no spoilers. 

Next up! 

Summer road trip part 1. We are coming home! Well for a month at least. We have weddings, bachelorette parties, vacations, family gatherings and much more. I can't wait to be back in the Buckeye State. I'm not so excited about driving back (with a cat and dog), but it will be fun. Writing about that later this month. 

But for now, here we come summer!!
