Friday Favorites: Airplane Edition

Happy Friday!!

It's my favorite day of the week again and today is extra special because I'm going home!! I'm so excited to take a few days off and visit my mama for her birthday! Plus go to some of my favorite Ohio places (Max and Ermas anyone?) I loved this picture I found online this week. #Ohioproblems

Well other than my flight tonight I have a couple fun favorite this week. This post is going to be all over the place this week. Bare with me!

Who else has a Fitbit?! I've had mine for over a year now and love it. At the beginning it motivated me to get up and and move, but then I got lazy. However this week I've tried to kick it into gear. I've hit my step goal every day, but look at these two challenges and how different they are. 70,000 steps in 4 days Nick really?!! Slow down! Haha

Speaking of workouts I started this one this week and love it. It's just the right amount to get done and also feel something the next day. It's a great new year's (3 weeks afterwards) resolution.

This week Nick and I had a lazy night followed by a hiking day. On Sunday we put the blow up mattress in the living room and watched movies. Then on Monday we went hiking with friends. For one lazy day you have to have a productive one right?

That's me in the middle of the picture and Nick is taking the the picture from across the cliff.

I saw this online and it spoke to me. Not only is it The Notebook and that's my favorite movie, but if anyone knows me and Nick this is totally us. Not always perfect together, but to us we are. Love it!

Who else watched the 10 year anniversary of High School Musical this week. Of course I did. I loved this movie when it came out and am not ashamed to say I still do now. That's one perk of being a teacher. I can watch these movies without feeling guilty and with 16 little crazies who love it just as much. But 10 years really? I'm feeling old.

Speaking of my little crazies. One little one brought this up to me and said, "Ms. Fasone do you know why there is a person in the sky?" I asked him why and he said, "that is my grandma in heaven." Cue broken heart and big, sappy tears in the middle of writing. That just broke my heart. So sweet!

Last, but not least I've been eyeing these flats forever, I just can't come to buy them because they are expensive. They look so comfy though and I need that for school!

I keep entering to win contests just in case you know maybe I win. Well the contest going on right now are their new Aladdin flats, broadway tickets to Aladdin, plane tickets and a hotel. Jackpot!!

Here is my link where you can enter too! Even if you don't want the shoes (I'll take them!!) who doesn't want a free trip!

Have a fantastic weekend! I hope no one on the East Coast gets snowed in! I'm jealous!

  1. Oh, I've been so bad about wearing my fitbit lately! I really need to get back to doing that. The workout you posted looks fun, and I love those flats! Found you via the Friday linkup. New follower :-)
