Weekend Recap

Happy Monday! 

I'm so happy to be back to blogging. I had to take last week off because I honestly couldn't do anything. This was me. 

I was soooo sick. Like lay on the couch and do nothing else sick. I'm still not 100% by any means, but I can at least get a few things done. 

Weekend Recap

This weekend was a fun one for me, other than still being sick I made the most out of it. 

On Friday we just hung out and I did some more of this. 

And used a lot of these....

Then on Saturday Nick and I had tickets to Rascal Flatts. Nick brought them for me for Valentine's Day and even if I didn't feel too good I made the best of it because they are my favorite band ever! 

It was an amazing concert and even if I sounded like a man with no voice I sang my little heart out and so did Nick when he wasn't falling asleep (he had been up all day long from work). He did perk up though when Brian McKnight showed up! That was a fun surprise. 

Then it was Sunday!! I've been counting down till this Sunday since the middle of November because it was the Daytona 500 day! For those of you that don't know anything about Nascar, the Daytona 500 is the start of the season, but also like the Superbowl of our sport. It's huge and amazing and exciting and terrifying all in one. 

Now I'm the biggest Dale Jr fan (you can read why here) and I've watched everything I could these past two weeks to get ready for the day. Jr had an amazing car and I felt so confident in him. But if you know about Daytona you know anything can happen and it did when Jr. spun out with 20 laps to go ending his chance for a third win in the Great American Race. I was devastated. So depressed. But I'm just happy that Nascar is back on and I have something to watch every Sunday!
