11 Questions and 11 Facts
Today I'm using a post from Sarah and answering 11 questions about myself then giving 11 facts that most people don't know about me. Feel free to use these questions yourself. I would love to read them!
11 Questions
1. What inspired you to start blogging?
I started reading blogs when I found Shay's blog. If you don't know her she's Sean the Bachelor's sister and has the cutest little family. Then I started following her friends and added more from there. I start my day with a cup of coffee and reading blogs. It's a good way to wake up!
2. What is your blogging 'niche'? What do you most enjoy writing about?
I like writing about day to day life. I enjoy documenting our life and looking back at what we wrote about.
3. What is your drink of choice at Starbucks?
I obsessed with Starbucks. I wish it were cheaper and more reasonable for me to get every day, but when I do get Starbucks I get a White Mocha in winter and Caramel Frapp in summer.
4. What do you do for a living outside of blogland?
First Grade Teacher
5. What is your ultimate guilty pleasure?
Reality TV shows- all of them!
6. How would you spend an entire day off to yourself, where money isn't an object?
Shop till I drop!
7. What was your favorite vacation ever?
My sophomore year of college I went on a cruise with three other girls in my sorority to the Bahamas and it was so fun! I always look back at those pictures and want to go back!
8. What is your all-time favorite recipe?
My mom's chicken and noodles- homemade over mashed potatoes.
9. What is your favorite place to shop?
Old Navy of course! If you know me that's my whole wardrobe with Target, Gap outlet and Nordstrom thrown in.
10. Who is your celebrity crush?
Sports wise- Dale Jr! I've loved him since I was 5.
Movie wise- Ben Affleck. (Dreamy eyes)
11. What is one CD (old school I know) that you could listen to on repeat?
Anything Rascal Flatts. I keep that in my car at all times.
Now for 11 facts about me:
1. I'm trying to learn a little Spanish using Duolingo and I love it. I'm only 1% fluent, but it's fun!
2. I'm obsessed with social media. I like being up to date and looking at people's pictures. But mostly I love Pinterest. I have everything in my life planned out on there. My wedding, my kids, my meals, my classroom, etc. If something happened to my Pinterest boards I would loose my marbles.
3. My favorite thing to do on a day off is just sit on my couch and watch TV. It may seem boring, but it's so relaxing to me. It's what I'm doing right now.
4. I love Apple products! I won't go back now. I have everything Apple and don't think I could survive without it.
5. I love decorating. It's my favorite. My favorite shop for house goods is Ikea (one in Vegas opens up in May...eeeeekkk) and Home Goods. I spend too much money on homeware.
6. Speaking of Vegas, it's where I live now! I'm from Ohio and Ohio will always be home, but I love living in Vegas. It's fun, it's warm and it's something new.
7. I love having fresh flowers in my house. Some may think it's silly and wasteful because they die, but I think they make a finishing touch on your home!
8. I treat my puppy and kitty like my babies and I'm not even mad about it. They are spoiled rotten, but who cares!
9. I love teaching. My little first graders may drive me crazy, but there is no other job I would want.
10. I'm not a big cooker. I use the same recipes all the time so that's where Pinterest comes in handy.
11. Nascar and Football season are my favorite parts of the year so that two months at the end of December to the middle of February where neither are on, are so boring.
