Weekend Recap 

Happy Monday!

Today we are linking up with Biana for a weekending post.

My weekend was all Nascar and it was amazing. If you are wondering why a girl from suburbia Ohio loves Nascar so much read here.

Well the Sprint Cup drivers were in Las Vegas this weekend and we took full advantage of it! If I can go to a race I will. My dream is to go to all of the tracks. So far I'm at 5. I need a lot more!



I started the weekend early on Friday, by meeting friends at the track to watch qualifying. We also got to go into the garage area which was awesome. In my 15 years of going to races, I've never done that. Check garage pass off my bucket list.

Saturday I took no pictures. I went and got my nails done then we went shopping, to the movies to see Zootopia (soon cute!) and to dinner with Zach and Anna.

Then came Sunday. Race Day!!

Now let me tell you they had been calling for rain all week! I was terrified the race would be rained out and I wouldn't be able to go because I have to work Monday.

Well we experienced weather alright.

Here is what the track looked like at the start of the race. Rain and Windy.



After a 15 minute delay, they got started and it started to brighten up.

Here is around lap 100. Sunny and beautiful.



Then every broke loose and a sand storm rolled in. It was so windy and cold. You could barley see anything. I don't understand how these drivers drove 198mph around in it. I had to wear my sunglasses to keep the sand out of my eyes, but they made it so hard to see because they were dark. Problems.



Then around the end the sun came back out and the wind died down a little. This is when Brad K was doing his victory burn out.



All in all it as an amazing time. Even if the weather was crazy (beyond crazy) I had a blast. Plus Jr. came in 8th which was amazing since his car was bad all day.



I had so much fun with this group this weekend. We went all Nascar. Tailgate, races, corn hole, amazing food! Thank you all for a great weekend.
