As a teacher myself I feel like teachers don't get enough recognition as they should, but I love that Teacher's Appreciation Day is becoming more relevant.
I feel like when I was in school and even four year ago during student teaching, Teacher's Appreciation Day was nonexistent. Now my kids know what today is and why we celebrate it. I love it!
Gifts are becoming the thing to do, but I think it's important that the students and parents just acknowledge the teacher sometime this week. We just want to know you care.

I already got a cute little gift yesterday and I loved it! The card was precious!
Just remember to thank a teacher today! They are with your children a lot during the year and try to help shape them into an amazing person. Plus they put a lot of heart, energy and time into their work so take the time a do a little something for your favorite teachers even if it's just a note.
I know I'll be thanking my favorites and those who shaped me into the teacher I am today!
