Weekend Recap Happy Birthday Dad and NBA CHAMPIONS Edition!!

Happy Monday!

I'm not sure if I love that's Monday already because that means Summer is going too fast! Slow down please!

Well I feel like I have so much to talk about because of Father's Day weekend and the NBA finals game 7!

But first I gotta start with this guy.

My daddio. Since today is my Dad's birthday and yesterday was Father's Day he deserves a huge shoutout. My dad passed away when I was 13 years old, but I've never gone through one day without him. He has always been by my side each step of the way. My dad was a giant goofball loving, golf fanatic, who loved my brother and I more than anything else in the world. Golf came in third :)

He was the kind of dad that screamed on the sidelines during my soccer games, gave me the master bedroom in our apartment when our house was getting built so I wouldn't have to share with my brother, made the best pancakes, hated watching Nascar, but did because I loved it, taught me everything I know about computers, was always changing things around, and loved with his whole heart.

I will never forget the way he wore the same t-shirts and hats every day with his Italian cross and horn necklace. He always put my brother and I first no matter what. He made sure we were always well taken care of and more than loved. He was the most relaxed, hilarious and most outgoing person I know. I always say I got his outgoing personality and Bobby got his relaxed ways.

When you lose someone huge in your life I feel like you always play tons of "what if" games in your head. Would he be proud of me? Would I be in Vegas if he was still here? Would I have went to BG? I've been doing the "what if" games for 11 years now and it will never stop, but what i've learned from it is life isn't about "what ifs", but life is about the present and the future. I can't take back what happened in the past. I can only hold onto the memories and look forward to my guardian angel looking over me in the future because he is always here!

So Happy Birthday Daddy! I hope you're playing a round of golf up there and winning big time! I miss you more than words can tell, but I feel you with me every day! Love you to the moon and back.

Now for my weekend recap.........

We did a lot of pool time this weekend.

Lucy and I went and got Starbucks of course.

Nick and I saw the Conjuring 2. SCARY!

AND...............

THE CLEVELAND CAVS WON THE NBA PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!!

I mean you all know I'm from Ohio, I'm a HUGE sports fan, and I love the CAVS so this is big. This is huge. This is gigantic!

Nick was screaming. I was screaming. The whole state of Ohio was screaming. So exciting!

Plus for LeBron to win MVP was the icing on the cake. I really don't like Curry so I'm really happy to hear much less of him in the days to come.

Now for all of those people saying we are crazy because LeBron left and came back, etc you are wrong. Nick and I have always loved LeBron! We love Cleveland, but were not those fans who hated LeBron when he left, but coming back is just amazing!

Yay Cavs!! #Allin16

That's our weekend in a nutshell.

Happy Birthday Dad and Congratulations Cleveland!!
