This week I started the 21 day fix workout and lifestyle change challenge.
Each day we record a Shakeology and workout to the app for it count!
When you start the 21 day fix you get all the materials pictured above, plus I got a months supply of Shakeology.
Here is the pack I got!
So you start the 21 day fix getting used to the containers. The great part of the fix is you can eat anything, but you work on your portion control. It has to fit in those containers to count.
Here is how many containers you get per day.
Green: Veggies
Purple: Fruit
Red: Protein
Yellow: Carbs
Blue: Healthy Fats
Orange: Oils and Dressings
Here are some ideas of what each food group could be!
The kit also comes with workout DVDs and a workout for each day! They range from cardio, total body, upper and lower, pilates and yoga.
So how do you start?!
Other than getting used the program and reading the guide, the best advice I got from my coach Erin was to plan! Plan out each meal and snack.
I found this great tool online and planned on Sunday before I went to the store. Here is what my planning looked like:

Like I said this is a lifestyle change for me. We used to eat huge portions and unhealthy with tons of carbs. I would drink pop and Starbucks coffee so I'm cutting a lot out (maybe not all the coffee), but feeling a lot better too! Even though Nick isn't doing the 21 day fix he kinda is by eating the healthier dinner choice, his portions are just a little bigger!
Now I'm not expert at all! This is only my third day so if you have done the fix before and have suggestions, ideas or recipes for me please let me know!
