Here are the questions we will be answering so let's dive on in.
1. What we're eating this week...
I read Sarah's blog yesterday and made these! They are sooooooo good. I'm going to give these to my first graders as a treat :)

1 box Funfetti cake mix
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup milk (I used skim)
1 egg
1 good handful of white chocolate chips
1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
1 jar Funfetti icing
1. Preheat your oven to 350 and grease your 9x13 baking dish.
2. Mix all of the ingredients together except the icing.
3. Evenly spread your batter in your dish and bake for 17-20 minutes. Check it with a toothpick in the center to make sure it comes out clean.
4. Let cool before icing and cut into bars!
2. What I'm reminiscing about...
My brother graduates soon so I'm missing my own time in college and want to go back... wahhhhhh.
3. What I'm loving...
I'm loving the spring/summer weather. I'm wearing a jean jacket every day with a skirt.
4. What we've been up to...
A whole lot of nothing really. We've been cooking like it's summer and enjoying time outside.
5. What I'm dreading...
I'm dreading the end of year testing, grades, etc. It's so much crammed into a month.
However, on that same note I'm so excited for summer and for relaxation.
6. What I'm working on...
I have two more weeks of grad school then have a two week break, then back at it for summer. So I've been working on article post after article post after article post.
7. What I'm excited about...
Nick brought us tickets for a concert the day before my birthday at the Cosmopolitan pool. It features a lot of artists and one of our favorites right now, Mike Posner.
8. What I'm watching or reading...
I got this book through Amazon Prime here. I watched the O.J Simpson trail on FX religiously the past several weeks and this book is by the real Marcia Clark. It's really good and I just started it!
9. What I'm listening to...
I'm still loving J. Biebs and Mike Posner. But now that 98 Degrees announced a tour I've been listening to my 2000s bands. Plus I'm soooooo going to this. I'll be buying these tickets on Friday!
10. What I'm wearing...
I've been wearing this and two other jean jackets EVERY day. It's cold in the morning or extremely windy and I need layers and this is my go to. Of course it from Old Navy, like the rest of my closet. Find it here.
11. What I'm doing this weekend...
Sleeping, watching Nascar, maybe brunch.... the normal relaxation weekend.
12. What I'm looking forward to next month...
I'm looking forward to my the concert, my birthday, the end of school and crazy enough an Ikea opening up in Vegas. I love Ikea and I'm so excited to buy more things for my apartment.
13. What else is new...
Nothing really. Same old, same old around here.
Bonus: What is your favorite gift to give mom?
I've given my mom some great gifts. My favorite was a picture frame that spelled out MOM from Shutterfly with pictures of my brother and I plus our dog. This year I'm making her a big wreath for her door.... Happy Mother's Day Mom!!
